Devon, East Dartmoor

Village in beautiful location on edge of moorland, close to Teign Gorge. Old cottages, 15thC church, pub and shop on village square. Julius Drewe of Castle Drogo buried in churchyard beneath memorial by Lutyens. Nearby: neolithic burial chamber; Spinster's Rock; Iron Age hill fort, Prestonbury Castle.
