"What a relief" !!!
Nestling in the Beautiful Teign Valley, The Manor Inn can be found close to the river at Lower Ashton.
This agricultural area is steeped in wildlife and has an abundance of glorious walks.
Fishing, Golf and other country activities can also be found locally.

This historic area of Devon has many interesting features. Apparently, "Olli Cromwell & his boys" raked around here in the Civil War, having a shoot up just along the road between The Great Barn at Place Barton and Ashton Church leaving Musket Balls in the old Great Barn doors.
Canonteign Falls (said to be the highest waterfall in the country) is just down the valley, Canonteign Estate was once owned by Admiral Edward Pellew the first Viscount Exmouth.
So after walking the dog, what's better than stopping for Lunch and a seriously well kept pint of Real Ale at a dog friendly Local Pub.

From the Teign Valley road, The Manor Inn can be found just over the Ashton Bridge which was built in 1604.
