A Victorian House with a relaxed friendly atmosphere in the Dartmoor National Park. Lydford House has been welcoming guests for over a hundred years and was built by the celebrated Victorian artist Widgery. It is set in 8 acres of delightful gardens and grounds with walks direct from the door up onto the Tors or around the famous Gorge and waterfall.
There is private access onto the Granite Way Cycle Path with cycle hire available. Lydford House Stables offers holidays for you and your horse.
Our full English breakfast with local produce is the perfect start to the day. On cooler evenings a cosy log fire awaits you on your return and the excellent cuisine of our authentic Italian restaurant La Cascata
